Small practice in the suburbs. Convenient and friendly.

I have attended North Beach Medical for over 5 years now and continue to do so despite my having moved away from from the North Beach area, Dr Storer is easily amongst the best doctors I have ever had to date, one of the things that stands out for me is his being very informative and always happy to explain the details of treatment I receive, also he discusses treatment options rather than just telling me what is going to be done is another thing that puts him ahead of other doctors I've had in the past, all the staff at North Beach Medical are friendly and respectful people in my experience and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering getting treatment there

I've been a patient since 1997. Dr David Storer has been my GP and I'm very satisfied

Shocking experience. As a nurse myself I could not be more horrified at our experience. The nurse (Helen) who told me she was the owner and makes the rules tried persuading me from not bringing my child in for his booked appointment on the Easter weekend, at 455pm before the long weekend began. We would not be booking a long weekend appointment if it was not urgent for us, but this clinic had different ideas on priorities. The receptionist also advised we could also make this booking at the time of calling up, but Helen kept playing off the receptionist trying to blame her. Without seeing my child she played down my reasons for bringing him in and could not have cared less about our concerns for my child. She kept pressuring me to cancel my appointment and if it was urgent I must go to a specialist. It seemed more of a cop out last minute for trying to avoid working a long weekend, as we would be seeing her husband the GP. She told me she did not care if I complained. If you would like genuine, caring and good care, do yourself a favour and avoid this place. The nurse needs a new career, perhaps in enforcement or a career where care is not a priority and being rude is an acceptable form of patient treatment. Avoid this place at all costs.

I've been a patient at NB medical center since i was a baby. Now im 32 and since i moved to melbourne i needed my medical history file transfered to my new doctor to melbourne. The reason i give 4 star is due to the $50 fee NB medical requires to transfer my file. Never have i ever heard of such a charge in australia. Otherwise, great and friendly staff
